Two New Auxillary Bishops Appointed by Pope Francis for New York

St. Joseph's Seminary celebrates with the Archdiocese of New York, as Pope Francis has nominated two former faculty members as Auxiliary Bishops of New York. Bishop-Elect Edmund Whalen, Vicar for Clergy, served on faculty and as rector of Neumann Residence from 1995-2001. Bishop-Elect Gerardo Colacicco, a member of the Class of 1982, served as Director of Pastoral Formation from 1992-1996. May God bless them both in their episcopal ministry!
