Biblioteca Digital Hispanica (Spanish National Library): This is the homepage for the online digitized collection of the Spanish National Library in Madrid. This collection comprises many earlier printed works (fifteenth century to the nineteenth century), largely in Spanish or Latin, plus some manuscripts dating as far back as the thirteenth century. Gateway Bayern (Bavarian State Library): This portal, an online union catalog of all the holdings in the libraries of Bavaria (southern Germany), provides free access to the complete digitized texts of many works, largely in Latin or German, from the Rare Books Collection of the Bavarian State Library. These items can be identified both by the yellow rectangle symbol to the left of the title and by the “Volltext” tag below the title; clicking the “Volltext” tag opens the digitized file.
