- Introductory courses in Sacred Scripture and the Catechism of the Catholic Church, as well entrance into the lives of the saints, the history of the Church, and Christian art and architecture.
- Work in Spanish or ESL geared to both future pastoral work and intellectual formation.
- Development of a habitus of study with access to the resources of the Corrigan Memorial Library, as well as access to the resources, museums, and cultural opportunities of the New York metro area.
- Exposure to the great books, films, and art, especially those significant in the shaping of Catholic culture.
