Congratulations to the Class of 2017

May 12, 2017, St. Joseph's Seminary presented 52 graduates with diplomas.

Nineteen seminarians received a Master of Divinity and S.T.B from the Pontifical University of St. Thomas Aquinas, Rome, of those seminarians, fourteen also received a Master of Arts in Theology.

Six men attending classes at the Cathedral Seminary House of Formation in Douglaston received the Master of Arts in Catholic Philosophical Studies.

Ten graduates attending the Yonkers site in the Master's Program (Lay Men & Women, Clergy & Consecrated Religious) earned their Master of Arts in Theology, and fourteen graduates attending the Huntington site received their Master of Arts in Theology.

Two Post-Masters Certificates, one in Sacred Scripture and one in Dogmatic Theology were earned by two of our Yonkers graduates.

The St. Charles Borromeo Award for Academic Excellence was awarded to Br. Justin Alarcon, C.F.R. & Br. Stephen Dufrene, C.F.R.
The St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Award for Academic Excellence was awarded to Rev. Fr. James Annor-Ohene & Mr. Charles I. Johnston.

The evening began with Evening Prayer with the convocation following. Our special guest and convocation speaker was Archbishop Pierbattista Pizzaballa, O.F.M. the Apostolic Administrator of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem.
