How to Log-In the Electronic Resources from Off-Campus
Proxied Electronic Resources Login
1) Contact the library to get the username and password you need to access these databases from the staff (at 914-367-8255 or via email [email protected] ).
2) The aforementioned databases can be found under the following sections of the drop-down menu on the left side of the page.
Resources on the Proxy Server:
Articles Databases: EBSCO EDS, EBSCOhost, EBSCO EJS, J-Stor, and Origins databases
eBooks Databases: Oxford Biblical Studies, Oxford Bibliographies, Oxford Handbooks, Oxford Scholarship, Hermeneia Biblical Commentary Series, EBSCO ebook collection, Proquest Religion & Philosophy collection, Ministry Matters, and Past Masters
3) Find and click on the database from the side menu you wish to access from the aforementioned list above (Ex. Oxford databases – see below).
Note: There are four options for the Oxford databases but we only subscribe to the following parts of each of these ones. The Oxford databases are the only ones with these restrictions.
Oxford Biblical Studies: Entire product
Oxford Bibliographies: Religion collection
Oxford Handbooks: Religion collection
Oxford Scholarship: Religion collection
4) Next click on the link next to the database you want to access and you will be brought to the library’s proxy server page. The log-in fields are located on the top left corner of the page (See screenshot below).
NOTE: For EBSCO EDS, you will be prompted to log-in to the proxy server after performing an initial search. You can log-in by clicking on the link in the yellow bar at the top of the screen. See the screenshot below. Please contact the library if you encounter any log-in issues.

Resources Not On the Proxy Server
Gale eBooks
1) Contact the library to get the username and password you need to access these databases from the staff (at 914-367-8255 or via email [email protected] ).
2) Click on the eBooks drop-down menu on the left side of the page.
3) Locate and click the ‘Gale eBooks” link on the menu.
4) Click on the link to get into the New Catholic Encyclopedia eBook collection. You will now be prompted to log-in using the password provided by the library (see screenshot below).

Encyclopedia Britannica
1) Contact the library to get the username and password you need to access these databases from the staff (at 914-367-8255 or via email [email protected] ).
2) Click on the eBooks drop-down menu on the left side of the page.
3) Locate and click the ‘Encyclopaedia Britannica’ link on the menu.
4) Click on the link to get into the Encyclopaedia Britannica. You will now be prompted to log-in using the password provided by the library (The screenshot below is the log-in screen for this resource).
