Library Usage Privileges (Please fill out the form below when you have finished reading the access policy:
Visitors and researchers are welcome to come and use the library but they must set up an appointment with the library director. Contact information: 914-367-8256 or [email protected].
Visitors and researchers may not check out any books directly from the library.
Special Collections:
Any visitors or researchers wishing to use materials from the library's rare book collection should set up an appointment with the library director before visiting. Access to the rare book collection is limited to researchers whose projects can benefit from the use of the collection.
Interlibrary Loan:
If you would like to borrow books from the Corrigan Memorial Library, then please place a request via the interlibrary loan office at your public or academic library.
Make sure they request the book from our library (OCLC symbol: ZSN) and put your name in the borrowing notes.
Photocopying and Scanning:
There are two photocopiers in the library, which both make copies and can scan & email. There is one on the first floor in the reference reading room and one on the third floor.
There is no charge for photocopying or scanning.
Please be judicious in your usage of this service.
Computers and Printing:
There are eleven public computers available in the library. There are two in the basement, four on the first floor, and one on the third floor.
The library does not charge for printing. The four computers on the first floor and the one on the third-floor print to one of the two network printers located near the circulation desk. The two basement computers print to the network printer in the basement.
Databases and online full-text periodicals can be accessed during your visit to the library. However, we do not permit alumni to have off-campus access to our electronic resources.
The library's wi-fi network is free but it is password protected. The wi-fi network's name is "Library". Please ask a library staff member for the password.
Access to the Library:
Visitors and researchers have access to the library during the normal business hours listed on the library website. The library hours are subject to change, so check the library website or call ahead if you have any questions.
